Catie & Mike Sail into Summer in Williamstown
Longtime couple Catie and Mike celebrated their marriage on a perfect summer day that transformed into a magical moonlit evening in the rolling Berkshire hills of Williamstown, Massachusetts.
Mount Greylock under a bright blue sky provided the perfect backdrop for their al fresco ceremony. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect.
A sailcloth tent adorned with leafy birch trees by Crocus Hale provided an airy setting for their post-ceremony gathering. The ambient daylight and shadows from the trees surrounding the tent kept the tent bright white while the sun was above the horizon…
…And at twilight, as the sun dropped below the trees, a more colorful foliage pattern slowly emerged.
The Boston-based band Kahootz provided entertainment. Bandleader Chris Cole is on the sax.
A friend of Catie and Mike’s brought a photo booth setup. They used the dense foliage just outside the tent as the backdrop.
Flowers by Crocus Hale featured pinks from champagne blush to deep rose magenta.
Friends and family held tete-a-tetes outside the tent around cocktail tables that were set up on the lawn.
Inside the tent, revelry ensued.
The night just got more and more gorgeous….
The nearly full moon shone brightly all night.
