A Breezy Summer Celebration in Great Barrington
Two sets of proud parents brought together their kids’ extended families and friends to celebrate with Katie and James the night before their wedding. The lovely bucolic setting for this outdoor celebration was the yard of the bride’s family home in the beautiful rolling hills of Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
Guests gathered under parasols and bistro lights to feast, laugh, and toast the bride and groom.
Bistro lights on twelve foot tall high poles crisscrossed overhead to illuminate the open air celebration. A simple line of bistro lights on four foot shepherd’s hooks created a soft path of light to the restroom trailer located discreetly out of sight a short distance away.
Colorful and aromatic food was prepared and presented picnic-style by Fire Roasted Catering.
You know you’re in the sticks when the neighbors that show up to crash the party are bovine…
I’d like to give a special shout-out to photographer Christopher Duggan, who created all of the images I’ve used on this page and generously made them available to me for this use.
